Introduction
Francis is a new Board Member with a previous 15-year career serving homeless men and women in Dublin and Wicklow County. Now working as a civil servant within the national rental housing regulator.
Career overview & current position
Francis has worked in the homeless services, in Dublin and Wicklow, for 15 years working across homeless day-services, street outreach, tenancy sustainment and SLI, supported housing and emergency accommodation services over a 15-year period. He is now working as a civil servant for the past 3 years, working in the rental housing regulator.
Education, Qualifications & Awards
Francis holds an Honours Degree in Law (LLB) and is currently a Barrister at Law Degree Candidate with the Kings Inns (expected 2022 Graduation).
Personal Statement
Francis is interested in improving the effective and efficient governance of the Greystones Family Resource Centre and its regulatory compliance. He is also very interested in the provision of affordable support services to families which will allow them to access employment, education and other services they otherwise would not have had access to. Francis is also interested in providing services that improve and build customers’ skills which will allow them to have a greater positive impact within their family and greater community.
